76TH REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION
St. Lawrence College of Higher Education proudly and enthusiastically celebrated the 76th Republic Day on January 24, 2025, with great fervor and patriotic spirit. This momentous occasion marks the day when India officially became a republic on January 26, 1950, following its independence on August 15, 1947, with the enactment of the Constitution of India. The college campus was beautifully adorned with flags, balloons, ribbons, posters, and other decorations, creating an atmosphere of national pride and celebration.
The celebration was a grand success, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone present. It not only rekindled a sense of national pride but also reinforced the ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, which form the foundation of our great nation.
A Report on day –out of B.Ed. students and teachers for movie screening (SkyForce)
On 30th January 2025, the B.Ed department organized a movie day outing of movie” Sky Force” for both students and teachers. The day began with the movement of our faculty members for their destination to the venue “PVR movies, V3s Mall Nirman Vihar. This event was part of the initiative to offer a relaxing and bonding experience outside the classroom environment. The primary objective was to enhance learning through the medium of film, promote teamwork and camaraderie between students and faculty, and allow a shared cultural experience that connects the classroom lessons to real-world contexts.
Workshop by the Red Cross Society

On February 17th, 2025, St. Lawrence College of Higher Education hosted an enlightening workshop on the topic ‘Substance Use Prevention in School Settings’ by the Red Cross Society, Delhi branch in collaboration with Indraprastha Power Generation Co. Ltd., Government of Delhi Undertaking (supported under CSR), National Institute of Social Defence, and Narcotics Control Bureau.
The Red Cross Society’s efforts in conducting this session were greatly appreciated, leaving participants with a renewed sense of awareness and responsibility in shaping a healthier society.
Mathfinity
Mathfinity 2025, held on February 20, 2025, at St. Lawrence College of Higher Education as part of the Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) organized by Mathelogix club of the institution, was a dynamic celebration of mathematics aimed at enhancing students' logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and creativity. The event provided a platform for students to engage with mathematics in an enjoyable and stimulating manner, reinforcing their analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Harit Spardan Event
Spandan, the renowned inter-college cultural festival, was held at IVS on The event brought together talented students from various colleges, providing a platform for showcasing their skills. Our college actively participated in multiple events and secured top positions in several competitions. Participating in an inter-college competition is an enriching experience that offers valuable lessons beyond academics. It provides students with an opportunity to showcase their talents, develop new skills, and grow both personally and professionally. They help students develop confidence, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, preparing them for future endeavors. Our college takes immense pride in the achievements of its students and looks forward to participating in similar prestigious events in the future.
Report on ‘No Fire Feast’ by Gourmet club
The "No Flame Feast" was an innovative and unique culinary event that celebrated fresh flavors and creative gastronomy without the use of stoves or ovens. This event provided participants with an opportunity to explore and enjoy a feast that redefined traditional cooking methods, focusing on raw ingredients, cold preparations, and innovative techniques. The event took place on 27th February 2025 at SLCHE and was attended by B.Ed students and was organised by the college’s Gourmet club. The "No Flame Feast" encouraged participants to showcase their culinary skills using fresh ingredients without relying on conventional cooking appliances such as stoves and ovens. The event not only provided an enjoyable experience but also inspired participants to explore new culinary possibilities beyond traditional cooking methods. With its emphasis on fresh and innovative flavors, the event truly delivered a feast like never before!
